Default Need help with gear lube.
I just recently bought a '73 454, 4 speed, and I was planning on changing the gear lube for my positrac, what would you recommend I use?

I don't have any real preference on the lube,I'm using Havoline right now.But what is of primary importance is not forgetting to add GM posi lube,or similar substitute.You'll know it when you drive it if you forget :D

Mobil 1 Gear Lube + 1 can of GM Posi Additive

90 wt "old school" gear oil- any brand with 1-2 bottles of GM only limited-slip additive.
