Help!!! Where's the wire go?
Putting the eng back together after new intake and I can't remember where this wire goes :confused:
It goes on the distributor, but I dont remember which spot. It is marked: coil, ground, and batt. Any help?
(it is the gear drive tach, HEI- Accel)

It just goes into a large bundle o wires. I was hoping I wouldnt have to tear it apart. No electric tach, it is a gear drive, but an HEI; made by Accel.
There is already a clip of three wires plugged into the dist cap that come from the distributor body. This lone wire goes into the cars wiring harness.

I'm not following you. Probably my fault, its been a long day.
The right hand side is marked "BATT", there is no wire for the tach, it is a gear driven tach.
There are three possible prongs for it to clip onto marked Coil, Grd, and Batt. Unfortunatly, I didn't note which one it was when I dissasembled it, now I have everything back together except this lone wire!
