Fiber Optics - Again
Got mounting issue resolved, but when doing a search on these puppies I didn't get all the answers I needed.
1) How close to the lens should the fiber line ends be? Mine all have the mounting grommets very close to the end of the line, so the don't go very deep into the lens wells.
2) Can you cut the ends with a razor to make a fresh clean surface?
3) Saw one comment about being careful not to get them too clean or they will be too bright. Something to do with removing too much paint. Is this talking about the line coating itself? Mine are anything but that at the moment...
