Carb Question about secondaries
How can I tell if the jets on the secondaries are functioning? I can hear when the secondaries kick in , but cannot tell if fuel is coming out of the jets. The car is having trouble advancing past 4500 rpm in 2nd and third gears.

Yes it could. It may also be just swapped plug wires. Disconnect and plug your vacuum advance if you have one and see if the problem goes away or stays the same.
