Upper dash pad mount question

Removed upper dash pad and have a support bracket from pad to windshield frame on right side only. Should there be one on left as well?

Does the dash pad have "clips" that snap on to the support bracket? My 1980 has 3 support brackets, left, right, and center. The dash pad clips(2 total) attach to the left and right support brackets.

I am 99% sure that there are others. I seem top recall one in the middle as well when I did mine. One does not seem right. Do you have an assembly manual?

My 75 has only one, A little off center to the right. There are clips on the dash pad that secure it to the lower windshield frame and the rest of the attachments stiffen it up just fine.
