I haven't every seen or heard of a flat hood, on my 82, even thought its a low version. It is functional for the air intake to the throttle bodies.

Re: Flat hood available? (joshwilson3)
Yeah, my hood is factory stock for the 82.
Like I said mine is the low version. You will have to make your own if you want a lower one.

Putting a TPI under a 80-82 hood is a major pain. You will have about a 1/4" of clearance at that. I think you could clear with a TPIS ram intake. It has a profile like a late model LT1.

I know people's taste vary, but I must say that this may ruin a good C3 :skep:

Re: Flat hood available? (BUGGSY1970)
That would look sweet on a custom and flared out 80s Vette with some 18 inch aftermarket wheels. Please post a picture after you complete the project.

NOTHING. It is your vette, do whatever you want with it.

Re: Flat hood available? (joshwilson3)
if you're going to put the gay azz graphic on your car, for the love of god do it to a C4 and not ruin a C3, also a C4 already has the flat hood you need.

Nothing wrong with the skull graphics, we are just kind of tired of seeing good C3's ruined with someones dream of the perfect car.
Case in point:

Re: Flat hood available? (joshwilson3)
Want a good...NO .....GREAT suggestion. Maybe you should look elsewhere for a flat hood.
Heres one that you can make unique, and personal.
