Those crazy kids.....
One of my new troops recently purchased a '69 Mustang with a 289 and 2 barrel carb. He decided to put on a Performer manifold and 600 Edelbrock carb. I told him I would help, but he said he'd be ok. Long story short, he attempted to put on his new parts this weekend. One of my other troops comes to work and tells me that he went over and watched for a few minutes and the car wouldn't start, but it was bellowing black smoke everywhere. The kid that owns the car comes in for evening shift and tells me that he had the fuel line hooked up to the PCV hose on the front of the carb......HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! He's a super nice kid, but that is so damn funny.
