What Is The Difference.....
.... between a radiator clutch fan and a stationary fan? I want to replace my clutch fan because it has some play in it and I was wondering if I could put in a spacer and just a regular fan. Thanks.

The fan with the clutch will usually spin if you try to while the engine is off. The regular or stationary fan will not spin at all. The clutch fan is more effectient usually maintaining more horsepower than the same car with a regular fan. If you can , try to keep the fan with clutch. Good Luck!
