TCS temp sending switch
anyone know the GM part number for the TCS temp switch that is on the right side cyl head and has 2 prongs on it???? any place to get one on the local market, napa, autozone, pep boys etc.?
switch was on 70-76 small block cars.

NOTE MY CAR IS 1972 200HP MANUAL.
I replaced mine last year it wasnt easy to find but its A.C.-DELCO #D1897A now assembled in Mexico it has 15/16 inch head.
(Other numbers on the box in front of me which i doubt are of use are....

The only AC-Delco agency in the U.K. who has these is O.C.W.(old car world),19 Wadsworth road,Factory 14, Perivale Greenford,Middlesex.UB6-7LF. TEL.0044 0208 810 4595 . e-mail OCWACDELCO@AOL.COM. £12.49p
Quite surprising just what old gear they carry!
If you need the T.C.S. SOLENOID that is bolted to the inlet manifold next to the carb on the right hand side you will also have a job finding these .....M&H Electric Fabrications Inc. 13537 Alondra Blvd, Santa Fe Springs C.A 90670 tEL 562-926-9552 $75 EACH. Ouch! item #01114451
But please verify that these parts are just the same for your car(LT1) IM NOT SURE if the 15/16 inch switch on yours switces at different temperatures?
