'75 Luggage Rack Replacement
Am replacing the original luggage rack on my '75. Has anyone seen the stainless replacements available? Are they high-polished? How do they shine compared to chrome?

Is yours a 6 hole? Could you do me a favor and measure the distance between center holes when you have a chance. Mine is stock original, but my center holes are 7" apart, and no one seems to match that configuration... another mystery...

Some of the aftermarket racks just don't fit the original rack holes. You have to modify them to work.

Mine was installed by the original dealer in 1975. It is a six hole. The two center holes are 6 7/8 inches apart. The rack looks like stainless steel to me but the parts attract a magnet. (I think that some types of stainless will attract a magnet.)
