Dash Headlight Switch Removal (HELP!!)
I really need some help with how you remove the Dash headlight switch from the dash pad. I have the dash out of the car and can not figure out if the **** removes from the shaft or if the shaft removes from the switch... and how you do it.
Please help!

There should be a small spring loaded push button on the upper side body of the switch. You need to press this down to remove the shaft. It may take a bit of manipulation and sweet talking to get it to work.

You have done the hard part getting the dash out. Look closly at the main body of the light switch. I don't remember exactly where is is but there is a little button you can push down and then the shaft will pull straight out of the switch. It looks like a little metal button like the top of a aluminum rivet.
Once you have the shaft out then you unscrew the nut under at the base of the bezel on the front side of the dash pad.
Piece of cake.

Pull the **** out on the switch (headlights on position). On the bottom of the switch there is a button with a spring. Push the button in while pulling out on the ****.
