71 corvette odometer
guy's ,need some help.i have a 71 sunflower yellow coupe.....everything works on it except.....the speedometer registers but the odometer doed'nt register the miles you travel....have a 72 also that does the same thing.....anybody encountered this and what is the fix?....thanks Larry

I rebuilt the head on mine. Fairly easy to do but it is a common problem. Most likely one of the gears is stripped or broken. Most of the vendors have kits available to rebuild the heads for both tach and speedo.
