ecklers hood?
I'm getting ready to order a 41/2" cowl hood for my 78, but I have a question. I need the 4 1/2" to clear the carb. I'd like to see some pics from the side so I can see how tall it is. If you have a cowl hood, could you please show me a pic and let me know were you got and how much you paid. Cutting my hood is out of the question incase I decide to go back with a milder motor(yea right). Thanks for looking Vince

I'd also be interested in someone providing some actual measurements if possible of the same type of hood. Say, distance above the base of the manifold on both ends of the engine (SB or BB) and the bottom of the hood. Everyone has different manifolds and carbs, but this measurement might be pretty standard. (Or some other suggested reference measurement).
