When the original owner did the frame off restoration on my 73 convertible, he kept it entirely stock, with the exception of adding the L82 cam when the engine was rebuilt. He even matched the factory color when he had the basecoat / clearcoat paint job done. I think the only other non-stock items are the Pertronix points replacement and modern radio / cd changer (though I got the factory radio in a box when I bought the car). Other than being no fireball, I've never regretted it being stock. I paid 18,000 for it in 1998 because it was perfect; what's the article say it's worth now? It's a 4 speed with factory air.
