Hey Gordon. What shifter did you use? I bought a TKO600 kit from Mike at 5 speed transmissions.com, and it came w/ the offset adapter to locate the shifter under the stock hole. What shifter would work in this situation? I would prefer to go w/ a black aluminum Hurst unit, about the same height as the stock piece, or a little lower. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got my shifter handle from Keisler. I'm not sure if the Hurst handle will fit.

What is the shifter like? How tall? Offset to the front or back or side?

The stick is pretty much straight up. There is a picture of one on the Keisler website. I guess it is about 8 inches tall maybe 10

When I read these posts about 5 speed transmissions or 6 speed transmissions, I dont see comments about the Richmond Gear 5 speed transmission and their 6 speed transmission. Richmond is a big name in transmission parts and also differential parts. Any reason why they don't get a mention????
