Default Anyone one have a "custom" C3?

I've always wanted to lower my C3 by an inch or two, put some 17'' crager SS's on her, and front/rear big brake kit. Maybe even widen the rear fenders some. I think it would look very classy and not loose the appeal of the car. Also, it wouldn't be all that expensive. Maybe 1100 for the wheels, 300 for some custom hood art, 500 for the suspension, and 15-1700 for the brakes. So 4000-4500 and you've got a crazy custom vette that everyone should enjoy! This is the second time today i've requested some pirctures, but i'd love to see some with these particular setups!

brandon, my personal taste would recommend you stay away from "hood art" unless you mean some classic flames or something. murals had a time and it's gone the way of the dodo. not saying that's what your thinking but if it is, just say NO!
as for custom vettes similar to what you are talking about, i would suggest you check out chris mcdonalds '69. it is probably one of the most beautiful vettes out there and some of the mods he's done are along the lines of what your thinking about.
i don't know what is going on with his site, i tried to visit it the other day and it appears to be down. if you want to ask him you can probably "call" him. he goes by the screen name '69myway'.

I've got a 73 painted 2004 excalade ext blue with widened fender flares, fiberglass rear spoiler, a 75' front clip and a long style l-88 hood. My web server is down. The front of the car is a 1.5" drop using aftermarket coils, i've got bilstein shocks all the way around, huge aftermarket sway bars, and a stock rear spring and stock brakes. I'm very happy with it. Its got a bitchin JL audio stereo in it, with XR 5x7's in the back, XR 4's in the dash, XR 5's in the kick panels, and an 8w7 sub in the rear bins. I'll post ya some pictures as soon as I can.

I've got an LS1 and a T56 in mine. Does that count as "custom"?

Mine's pretty custom, but not in an 'in-your-face' sort of way. Check out my sig for details.
