1st flare done

YAY, I have successfully made 1 rear fender flare today, still needs a lot of sanding and trimming of the edges, especially on the door side. I haven't trimmed that off because I may end up smoothing it into a pair of side skirts.

and here you can see another project...if you look carefully

What's the other project? I see what looks like the mounting for the C4 rear trailing arms.

yup, it's a modified C4 dog bone bracket, I trimmed it and there's a rear section welded to it so it bolts through the 2 bolts you see and the stock trailing arm bolt. It will be a custom 5 link, a la Lohkay's setup but different.

Hoosier Pro Street Radials 29x15.50R-16LT , that's over 400 wide in metric sizes. they are going to be fitted to 16x12 rims.

ACI makes flares as does ecklers, the L88 ones from ACI (also available through MAD for 100 bucks less than ACI) are rounded, the Ecklers are the mudflap design

Nice job!! I wish I had the talent to do that
I'd have a cool flare on the right side and a cool flare on the left side
but they would look nothing like each other
