Chicks dig guys with Big Pipes. Pretty simple installation all in all. There was some tweaking to be done but nothing major--typical mass-produced exhaust system stuff. Gotta love the polished stainless steel, baby.
EDIT. Whoa. The first pic was too big. Here's a more reasonably sized one:

Thats Hooker side exhaust. I purchased a set from Ecklers. I heard a rumor Hooker won't be manufactuing these anymore. Anyone else here that? I don't see them for sale anymore on Eckler's website. http://www.ecklers.com I only see replacement tubes now.

Those look Hot!! I gotta say I love the deep throaty sound of mine!!
I waned to get a vette with sidepipes and so after I go this one, we saw it needed to have the exhaust replaced. That being the case - it was my in to getting those sipepipes!!!

I can't imagine why hooker would stop making these, unless they have come out with a better design. This is one of their better selling items.
Hooker polished stainless steel. The part numbers you want are 2224-3HKR for the headers, 50735-3HKR for the side tubes and the side mount, slip-in glass pack mufflers are 21021-HKR.
I'm not going to use the inserts.
1FUNVETTE, is looks as if you have the same situation as me--the pipes look like they droop toward the back even though they're level with the ground all the way back and the driver side looks lower than the passenger side even though they're not. Glad I'm not going crazy.

I'm lovin the sidepipes. What do you think would produce the best sound, a set of sidepipes or straight pipes out the rear?
The uncapped sidepipes are a little bit louder than the uncapped headers I was running before. The reason? The under-car headers were making all their noise under the car and the sound was muffled somewhat. It's a bit more in your face with the sidepipes, although you can really only hear one side or the other at a time. They have a nice sound, though. You oughta hear them at WOT.
