Than driving the 69 through the backroads of Central Texas (paved roads in the middle of corn/milo/cotton fields) in the evening with the tops off and the back window out. There are lots of hairpin curves and lots of wide open spaces. The only scary thing is topping a hill and hoping Uncle Buford isn't pulling his round baler with his Oliver tractor, doing about 12 mph. The A/C is nice, but the fresh, warm air is way nicer.
I have no point - except that I wish everyone could experience that feeling.

NICE....Life is Good!
I told my wife just this evening that this would have been a great evening (North Dallas) to go for a cruise. Unfortunately mine is in the shop until Monday evening.
That's why I bought mine ('68 vert). I hope to have it restored enough for tags by next Summer. I drive on those same type roads in my Blazer and start imagining the vette's final shift from 3rd to 4th. Please let that day come soon.
There's nothing better........
Except doin it with a bunch of Corvettes
Our club had a run to a winery restaurant today. About 45 people, 20 vettes, and a couple of Camaros. Some nice windy roads to slide around on and a couple of freeways to cruise on. Roof down, with the heater on, weather.
Good Food, Good Company and Great cars!
You bet!
I love visiting the States but I will always call Oz home.
Melbourne, One of the worlds most liveable cities.
More good food, More good company, and I call it home!
