Default Bubble tail lights

Anyone installed the bubble tail lights? I installed them yesterday on my 82 and after everything was hooked up all 4 tail and brake lights worked fine. The 4 way flashers worked fine but the turn signals only light up but do not blink.

A HD flasher was included in the kit but with it installed the turn signals do not flash. With the old flasher they blink very fast. Possible the HD flasher is bad?

I will get a new HD flasher today and see if that fixes it but wanted to know if anyone else had a similar problem.

Yes. Changed the Corvette to 4 stock tail lights many years ago & went w/ a HD electromechanical flasher. Turns blinked fast w/ stock flasher. Still works fine.

Thanks for the reply. Went to Autozone and picked up a variable load electronic flasher and it now works perfect! This is the flasher that should be included in the kit to start with.

Since I rarely drive the 82 at night I won't miss not having back up lights and having 4 tail and brake lights really makes the back look better. For those wondering about this mod it is very easy to do and with the exception of the flasher deal, very straightforward. All parts fit good and included 4 new housings, 4 new red lens, 4 new bulbs, gaskets and 2 new sockets that you splice into the exsisting brake/tail light wiring with included Scotchlock connectors.

i love mine, but i'm worried about my next safety inspection that they will want to see clear backup lights.

I have been pondering what to do. Maybe a couple of really bright white LED's incorporated into the licnese plate area somewhere?

Living in the strict state of Pa i had to install back-up lights for state inspection. I mounted some $14.00 driving lights next to the license plate. can't miss me when I'm backing up at night.

I love mine, I'm thinking about putting 68 back up lights in the rear valance, and converting my inner lights on the same circuit as the outter lights

can't figure it out . When I first checked the post the pic showed up w/o asking for password. Now it's gone. If anyone wants a pic of the back-up lights send me an e-mail.

They're pretty bright but they're low enough that that shouldn't be a problem, but no one can ever say they didn't know I was backing up.
