Just make sure if the crank is external the harmonic balancer and flywheel are compatible. I think you need a 400 balancer unless it was internally balanced then you can use your existing 350 stuff. My .02
Yep, I got the correct balancer (400) and flexplate.
I also got the Canton oil pan - 7 Qt low profile. I went standard volume on the oil pump. Lunati Cam - 489/520, 230/240 @ .050 duration.
I was on the fence and decided not to get the zero gap rings. I just don't think they will make that big of a difference on a street car.
Still not sure what to do about the intake manifold. I have an old Edlebrock StreetMaster that is the precurser to the Torker II but I wonder if a dual plane would be better?
I'll be ordering headers, new fuel pump, and new water pump also. Might as well do it right.

Intake choices

I would get one.
An open plenum manifold will give you great upper end to top end but it's not the best choice for around town driving. The new 'performer' series manifolds are good to 5500RPM which plenty for most street motors.

I have run BOTH the 327/365 HP dual-plane intake, and a Victor Jr. on my Z28 drag-car, and the car runs with-in .05-seconds, regardless of which intake I have on it.
Not having done much to my C3, I understand that hood-clearence will be a factor in what will, and what won't, fit.
