I bought a 1976 and not a 1977 partly because of wanting to call mine a Stingray. I understand why you might refer to a 1977 as that same body style. However, it is not a Stingray.
Sorry.
It's not.
No, really.
It isn't.
Seriously.
I mean it.
I'm not kidding.
Really.
Quite sure.
Yep.
how certain are you ????? Why not tell us what you really feel?
please don't take ANYTHING I say seriously!! .... I certainly don't!! My comment that the Chevy marketing people were confused was made in jest.... although for all I know there may be a germ of truth there.... and I may have inadvertently made a valid point when I suggested that a 68 cannot be a Stingray because the word hadn't been invented yet...... Anyway, it was not intentional (making a valid point, that is... ) OK?
What year did chevy drop the stingray tag (What year was the last corvette to be called the stingray)? :flag
Man, you opened one GIANT can of worms when you asked that question. It may have been an innocent little question to you but it's a slap in the face for some people and guaranteed to get their blood pressure and pulse way beyond the realms of safe operating limits
Now, just to stir the embers back into a conflagration.... My 82 has Stingray emblems on it
