OK.... After a far too long and tedious battle with the drivers side upper ball joint, I finally got all the ball joints popped and the spindles off.
Now, I'm attacking the bolts that hold the lower A arms to the frame. The front bolts came loose relatively easily. However, no such luck on the rear bolts. The bolt is spinning with the nut. There isn't enough room to get anything that I know of on the head of the bolt above the frame.
Too many times I ran into a block like that, but it just took determination and perseverance. (and many times a BFH)
I also had the help of a buddy at times to double team a tough bolt/nut. Every time I thought I couldn't do it, something would give and I would get it.

Same here. I was able to do the job by myself on that one. Seems like I let the wrench on top wedge itself against something and then broke the nut loose. Its been a while ago and I have slept since then.
Which side? Seems if you have power strng then you may have to remove it get to the nut on the drivers side. Pass side seems clear shot.
Exactly. On the drivers side, the power steering pump is just above the bolt head. I gave it a good bath in liquid wrench and I'll try getting at it again tomorrow, but the mounting bracket on the frame seems to be a U and the wrench didn't seem to want to go down all the way on the head. Definately not enough room to get a socket wrench on the bolt head with the power steering pump there.
Well, I'll give it a good tomorrow and see what happens. Patience and perseverance. I'll just keep saying that in my head. The offset wrench sounds like a possiblity.
