engine compartment paint?

engine compartment paint?

I know this is a stupid question..but does anyone know of paint that looks good, but holds up well, and conceals some stuff that i might miss or choose to miss in grinding?

I just used the Krylon blacks for mine. Some swear by a black that is put out by John Deere.

i just got 2 cans of eastwood underhood black this week.
Didnt have time to put any one. Will take pics when wiper bay is painted.

I used black stove/grill paint(spray can). It's flat though. One advantage is it is very good with the heat. Not very good with power steering fluid. Eklers probably sells an original match.

Restorers like the John Deere "black blitz" or the Krylon flat black.
