Carpet Replacement Decision

I have an 81 vette. It's got a black exterior and red interior. My carpet is getting worn and I was thinking of replacing it. I saw a pic online once of a guy who used a black carpet but kept the rest of the interior the stock red. I thought it looked cool and made the red leather seats stand out more. I've been trying to find that pic since but have no luck. Any one have that in their car? Or have pictures of one? I could use your opinion since I don't want to make this beautiful car ugly. Thanks

IMHO C3's with red interiors are just TOO dang red. They need something to break up the red. Black carpet would look

Thanks. I think I will go with the black carpet to break it up a little. Was just hoping that it wasn't a ricer thing to do.
