I'm the original owner of my 76. The interior came with a dark gray dash and carpet, with a light gray to off color white dash panels, door panels and console.
My 76 is has two tone interior.
Dark green carpet, dash, and steering wheel,
White seats and door panels.
I think it looks very good.
Factory paint exterior is the Dark green as well.
That was in fact a factory option with deluxe interiors only to have the 2 tone color scheme. I have a few people each year order this from me. With your combo, the door panels were white with firethorn carpet on the bottoms of the doors, and through out the car. The seats were white leather, and the rest of the trim is firethorn. At no time did GM ever offer the seats to be two toned though. However, alot of people have had red bolsters sewed on aftermarket to add some additional accent. I do still have these available if you need parts. FYI there were other 2 tone color options available as well for 76 and 77.
Bob...have I seen this one...or is it new (well...relatively)?
But Bob's absolutely correct, we've seen some nice 76s with the two tone interior and I've got a copy of the original paperwork plus the sales material.

I picked this one up in the last spring, I bought it from the original owner of 27 yrs. The salesmen who placed the order in 1977 now owns the Chevrolet Dealership.

It's funny I see this question posted as I just went through the same thing with my 76 2 tone firethorn and white interior. I had my interior mostly redone last month and the person who did the work was insisting this wasn't an option that year. The previous owner must have put this together on their own. FYI I had the two tone door panels with walnut inserts on them and the shift plate. Decided to do away with them.
I was wondering,, like maybe others, how it comes, that my car has two tone interior. I have the same combination as Norbert (white / blue).
During some research I found the following:
In 1976/1977 on the body trim plate-code ZJ1 which is located in the upper left corner just above the interior code stands for (CUSTOM INTERIOR TWO-TONE).
This option was never listed in any sales brochures or dealer handouts.
It took an override to order a new corvette with this option.
Here my Trim Tag
Also the dealers invoice and window sticker
I have also the tank sticker, but unfortunately it is not realy readable anymore.
I have the same trim plate-code ZJ1 too. Here is my Trim Tag

Normally I don't like to add to an old thread but my 77 has the red/white two-tone as well. I've had a few comment and tell me it's not orig over the years. My father did buy the car new I was told, but I never really talked to him and don't know much about the car before I got it. It's not a show car so I don't really care myself, but if it can help someone else here are some pics.
Never saw a blue interior til I took a walk through a junkyard in the 90s
Something about it goes with white black silver etc
Everyones got black (not that it looks bad) the green is real interesting too.
Yrs ago had a 70 straightbumper no console Z/28 green/green interior..noone wanted the car due to the color. Best all around driving car I had, frame off restored then DD it for years. nowadays guys go nuts over em cause of the 'rare" thing. whatever
Thanks for sharing your pics! I have the exact same car...77 with the two-tone interior and have been told it's original. I've seen others, one that's currently for sale in Florida, that is also the same combination and has the same trim tag, and the build sheet confirms it is original. People always doubt it because the trim tag says it's a red interior. Anyway, thanks for sharing. :-)
