Default Hose clamps

So, my 383 is nearing its completion, and I was thinking of upgrading my hose clamps while its goin back in. Anyone have experience with Pi-Thon clamps? http://pi-thon.com/Spanner.htm They look pretty nice... I also am not sure about the sizes. Can someone help me? Im up at school a couple hundred miles from the car and all my books. Its a '70 vert. All the parts in the car were used with the original 350, rad, water pump...etc. I think what I need is (4) 5/8" heater hose clamps, (2) 1.5" upper rad., and (1) 1-3/4 water pump clamp. Does this seem about right?

Thanks

Joe

Default clamps

Sir:
You forgot 3/4" heater hose clamps besides the 5/8" variety. The 5/8 and 3/4 refer to the hose ID.

On the radiator, the 70-82 uppers and lowers are not stamped with a size in inches, however the earlier 55-69 models use the same size upper and it is stamped 2 1/16", while the 55-69 lower is stamped 2 5/16".
The OEM 70-82 Wittek Surtite's part number for either 70-82 radiator hoses was size 28H. Cross that traqde number to a generic clamp. Note that 454 AC lower for 70-73 used a Wittek Surtite 32H.

The upper radiator hoses changed size in late 1979 to smaller ID.

PS Nice 69 L89 convertible wanted. No project.
