Powerglide Kickdown Adjustment

I tried this over in C2 but with little in the way of replies. Anyone know how to adjust the carb/transmission kick-down rod?

I do not have a switch or a cable. It is simply a mechanical rod linkage. I adjusted it today to give full transmission rod extension with WOT and choke open. That is the GM procedure. Unfortunately I cannot report results as it is raining.

With only 2 gears are you sure you aren't in low already?

I sometimes will grab my 4 speed shifter trying to find a 5th gear when my rpm's climb on the e-way.

Sometimes I am tempted to install a TH350 or even a 200R. The Powerglide sure does limit the inherent rev capabilities of a 327. I did not realize that until I bought the C2. That short stroke compared to a 350 makes for quite a free revving engine.
