Default Cutting coils

I've got chop disease, bad. I wasn't happy with 26.5" front so I wanted 26.25" and took both sides apart. Started at 6:45PM and finished at 7:35PM. That's both sides! Removal tires, calipers, sway bar end links, disconnection A-arms, removal coils, cutting coils, painting coils, installing new rubber boot ends, and the whole re-install. That's dam fast and the results 26.25L and 26.24R, man what a differance .25 of a inch makes on the look of the car. I could do this for a living.

Are you running the stock oil pan?

Next week you'll want 24.5. You're getting to be a pro with cutting coils, that's fast work.

Yep stock pan, the worry is the header collectors and P.S. control valve but I'll kep to under 100mph on hard dips.

pics have to wait till morning, too dark lots of shadows in the garage. I cut a total of 1.5 coil from each side.

Okay here is 26 3/4" so picture her .5" lower

Im curious on how you cut the coils?

You are getting quick. I think 25.25 is getting too low, I would start worrying about hitting the pan and my headers. Your right rear must be up if you have an inch difference in the front.

Cali

Where did you get the puller tool at? I cannot find anyting like it and have to resort to the pickle fork, not a big deal when replacing the ball joints but would destroy the boot if I just needed to remove the a-arms or something like that in the future.

Thanks

Fevre I got it at Kragen Auto. If you cannot find it on their website call me at (619) 729-3130 and I'll go buy you one and mail it to you.

David

NV I'm at 26.25" not 25.25" (edit)

Okay, I took a few pics. I don't know if I'm going to keep it at this height yet, but I'll try if it doesn't bottom out or scrape regularily.

It's really hard to capture how sweet the stance is with a camera. I'll have to try to get the transmission fixed and the exhaust put on so I can finally have it done. Take it out, wash it, then get some decent pics with my mom's camera (you know, the type that don't come in a cereal box, like mine). Hopefully then I can capture it.
