TH400 fixture
A while ago,I was asked for some pictures of the fixture I made up to hold a TH400. I had some time to get back to this job so I started assembling the tranny and took a couple of pictures.

No patent just a few pieces of 1" black pipe, 1" angle iron and use off a lathe and welder. Cost about $35 in materials. There is a fixture sold does pretty much the same thing for $150. When I get it to the point of installing the forward clutch , the engine stand rolls under my workbench and I support the outside end with some 2x4's as I rotate the clutch to line up with the direct clutch.
