Hey guys. Finally got some pics of my '74. I'm in the middle of trying to figure out what the hell I'm doing, which means a lot of time and swearing and beer . Getting her roadworthy is proving to be damn hard for a first timer, but oh well. Here are some pics, she needs a lot of work.
You can see how much work it needs, especially the interior. I'm gonna learn a lot in the next couple years. Tell me what ya think.
Cheers
- Colin

Nice looking car, doesn't look too bad the way it is. Good luck with it and have fun with the restoration process, it is a very rewarding feeling when your done and can say you did it yourself.

Looks like it is ready to go now. You will have a lot of fun and a lot of headaches restoring one of these cars. When you are finished with one project it is a great feeling knowing you fixed it. Good luck with your project and thanks for sharing your pics with us.
Apparently the host for your pics does not allow remote posting, that would be the reason you can't post. I tried and came up with the same results you did. So, you are doing it right, it just is not going to work with that host.
Thanks for the comments guys! I've got about 5 mechanical/electrical issues to deal with, and I'm still working on the first one. After that, I'm pretty much gonna replace all the trim in the interior as well as all of the weatherstripping. After that, it's paint time.
What do you guys think about changing to a different, non-original color. I like its' current color, but I would love to have a midnight blue metallic color at the same time.
Trasher, I say paint it what ever color you want. I am not a big fan of keeping a vette how it rolled off the line. Then again my vette is way from stock.
My rims are the boyd coggington blaster, 17X8 4" BS. 255 45X17 tires. Thanks. NO spacers.
This is a great looking car to start with. Lot's of cars I've seen here and elsewhere, including my own, that were a lot farther from roadworthy. I really like your original color (go horns!). Lots of little details from where you are now but steady diligent work, one issue at a time.
