So what are the required reading for C3 modification, suspension and racing? Other good books about C3s?

I have a year in Korea to fill up.

Authentic Restoration Guide: Corvette Restoration Guide 1968-1982 by Richard Prince. MBI Publishing Company--ISBN 0-7603-0657-5. Lots of pix and diagrams - very informative!

The Chevrolet Power Book. Early addition. Has all the factory recommended suspension, frame and component modifications for production car racing.

I have a copy, it is very helpfull for road race modifications. I think the relevant chapter might be posted on one of the Corvette archive sites.

It isn't Corvette specific, but "Tune To Win" by Carroll Smith. You will learn more about cars from that book than probably any other. If you are the nerdy type like me who enjoys doing trig and calc for fun, check out "Race Car Vehicle Dynamics" by the Millikens. It also is not Corvette specific, but there is a section devoted to our somewhat unusual IRS.

Chevrolet power book if I can order it off of amazon then cool. I have race car vehicle dynamics, man do I regret leaving college. And tune to win is on my wish list on amazon.

And Jpatrick I will be more than happy to add your book to my collection. Anything I can send your way?

Where can I find this chevrolet power book?

Chevy Power book on 'vette chassis modification for racing
is in corvettefaq.com. D/L the PDF.

For restoration guide, I like the Porter book.
The Prince book gives all the facts and differences over the years,
but it doesn't show you how to do anything.

Book about Duntov.

I posted this in your OT thread, but put it here for those here that never read that section.
