power steering cylinder
I recently noticed that my 81 jumps around (just a little) at highway speed. Looked underneath and noticed that the power steering cylinder is leaking. Could this cause slightly erratic steering?

More likely you just have worn out front end steering/suspension components. Van Steel is running a special on the rebuild kit.

i just had my pitman arm come loose on freeway after complaing of
darting around exrepair man said its ok on the same day it fell off
so also check that yor nut ab=nd bolts and cotter key are tight and in place
