So im looking back at all these pcv questions and it seems as though lots of people are sayin different things. I just was wondering if this is what many of you guys were talking about.
Those are both breathers so you will have no pcv (Postive Crankcase Ventilation) valve. Although not needed it helps to suck all the 'bad' air out of the crankcase and eliminate possible fumes from coming out of the breathers when you are standing still and idling.
so eventhough the first one says a pcv setup, its not a true pcv? sorry..new to this type stuff..
It is a breather to used with a pcv set up. You need either of those breathers on one side and a pcv valve on the other side that has line running to your carb. The carb will draw the air through the breather across the eng and out the pcv valve. Not 100% needed but it does keep smoke from rolling out from under the hood and a nasty smell when sitting and idling.

Yeah, those are both breathers, and can be used on one side with a pcv valve on the other side.
Some companies make a breather for one side, and a breather / PCV for the other. It looks like a breather, but has a connection and valve inside to make it a PCV valve.
Billet Specialties breathers fit valve covers with a 1.22 in. diameter hole, and you can take your pick of either regular breathers or those with a standard, replaceable PCV valve.
