I'm looking to reduce my hwy rpm's. At 60 mph I turn 2500 and at 70 mph its 3000. I believe that the differential is a standard 3.36:1. Would there be a significant difference / reduction, if I changed the ring & pinion (only) to obtain 3.08 or even a 2.73 ? What would this do to the performance ? Not that this is a race car.....its a driver.
