What's nice is that with the coilovers my shock mount is a 5/8th bolt. And now it's not even a shock mount, it's a strut mount. Mine were so rusted in, it was just insane. Drilled them, cut them, pounding on them. It took everything to get them out. In the process some material was taken out of the bearing support and I chopped up one strut rod. Just junk stock parts anyways. I don't know if it's best to use a torch on this part as I would think the heat would travel up into the bearings.
What has likely happened is that the inner sleeve of the strut
rod bushing has fused (with rust) to the shock mount.
I ended up cutting through my strut rod end and grinding away
at the inner sleeve to get mine out. I replaced with adjustable
strut rods from VBP.
Yes, that's the trick. The sleeve holds it tight. Grind it open after cutting out the strut rods and the mount falls out on it's own.
It is not stuck in the trailing arm, but only in this stupid bushing between the 2 lugs.

After screwing around with it for a few hours tonight I got the driver's side cut apart and that's what I found. Three good hits after it was cut apart and it come right out. Tomorrow I can hopefully tackle the passenger side.
