Default Differential Fluid Change

I am about to change the fluid in my differential and have heard that I need to replace the fluid (with new additive) then drive the car making very tight turns. Redrain the fluid and replace again.

Does everyone recommend this process?

I agree that you need to use posi additive with the new fluid (I like the synthetics best) and you should perform a series of tight turns in both directions, say in a parking lot, to help work the addidtive in. I don't believe you need to drain and refill afterwards again, however.

Ain't like washing your hair;, lather, rinse, repeat.
Just change it and do the figures 8's and you're done.

Yep, what they said. No need to drain and re-fill again. I don't use the additive when using Mobil 1 but others do. Definitely use the additive if using normal oil.

The double change is if you have been having chatter in the Positraction clutches.

First time I heard of changing it twice, I was getting some vibration and noise in the rear so I just changed mine last weekend and it is much better but there is still a little chatter left I wonder if I should change it again ?
