Anyone converted from the stock C3 pump (Ham can style) reservior to a later style with a remote reservior. I recently installed a "rebuilt" unit which is now leaking again. I am tired of fighting to fill and check the fluid under the alternator. I'm open to ideas and pictures of solutions.
Thanks,
Bob James
I went to the sweet? pump. It is used by stock cars and grand nationals. It has a remote resovoir and is easy to mount. I have a picture, I just have to find it.
Not a great shot, It is hidden under the rad hose. I mounted it to a flat alumimum plate then mounted the plate to standoffs off the block. You can see the remote tank.
