Default Chrome bumpers

Is it possible to add the chromo bumpers from the early stingrays to a 76? And if it is what would I need?

I think you would the whole front clip to make it look original. 76 has smooth lines, whats your motiviation for that?

Thats one of those changes where it might be cheaper to sell and buy a chrome bumper car.

I agree the path of least resistance would be acquiring a 68-72.

after all the work you will pay to have it put the chrome on it will be just the same as sellling your 76 and buying a 68-72 car. or less you can do the work your self

Anything is possible. However, this really isn't practical. You'd have to replace pretty much the entire front end and rear end fiberglass, bumper brackets, grilles, tail lights, rearmost crossmember for bumper mounts, and innumerable other minor parts.

Lots and lots of cash, time, and patience. Then you'll end up with a '76 that's worth less $$$ than it was before you started. If you want a chrome bumper car, sell the '76 and buy one.
