79 vette door locks
I have a 79 corvette and upon bringing it out to drive this summer
the door locks unlocked ,but won`t lock.
I looked at a Hanes manual for this year of car and it doesn`t even
show a wiring diagram for the power locks.
I have checked the actuators and they work..
Any help would be greatly appreciated .

2 things to check, usually a good idea to clean and lube all the rods and pivot points behind the door panel, clean the electrical connections and maybe put some no ox on them. my main problem was the fact that my doors were not lined up and this was due to worn hinge pins, an expensive fix that took a couple hours, but you will need a second person at times

I had the same problem with mine. Couldn't even lock them with the key. I took the drivers door panel off and cleaned locking mechanisms with wd-40 and lubed with lithium grease. Can now unlock with key (actuator is missing on this side. Still have to get around to passenger side.
