Muffler choice
I'm going to replace my cat. converter with a hi-flow model and the mufflers. I've narrowed down the muffler choice to 3. I'd like some opinions on these. I'm looking to increase performance while boosting sound slightly but what to keep it to a low rumble. Rather not draw too much unwanted attention from the law!

I voted for Flowmasters, because you didn't list MagnaFlows.
I just replaced my Flowmaster mufflers with (2) Magnaflows - They both have a good deep V8 sound, but the resonance inside the vette with the Flowmasters was very unpleasant, I couldn't talk or hear the radio.
I like the inside & outside sound of the Magnaflows.

I voted for the Super Turbos. They still sound good but quieter than most others. That is my preference for my very close to stock Vette. I just took the original setup off and put it away for now. It sounded like a station wagon with the stock setup.

And yes I was looking at Edelbrocks too but didn't find a whole lot of info out there other than on there own website.

I have the Flowmaster Delta 50's with an H pipe and I really like them. I don't get the resonance that others are talking about. I don't have the cat and I have 2 1/4 inch exhaust. I have had a lot of compliments on the sound.

Just installed a set of stainless Magnaflows and 2 1/2" pipes. I wanted the Flowmasters till I heard about the PP noise they made at aprox 1800 rpm. My muffler guy talked me into the Magnaflows and at this time I'm very pleased with them.

I did the same thing at Blockbuster the other day. I came out of blockbuster and a "ricer" was parked next to me. When I started my vette it set off the ricer's alarm.
