Speedo Cable Help
I have an 81 vette with cruise, my top speedo cable was missing when I bought the car. I have been unable to locate the cruise transducer where the top and bottom cable meet.
I have 2 questions Where should the transducer be located.
and if there is not one will the cable from a non cruise 81 (single cable) work instead of the 2 cable cruise set up

Follow the bottom cable up from the transmission. It should be somewhere in the vicinity of the master cylinder. Perhaps just under and to the front I think. This is where mine is on my 79. Good luck.
