Default New Radiator Installed
What a pain in the butt. At least I'm done, maybe. While I was cleaning up I noticed a spring in the old bottom radiator hose. The new bottom hose did not have a spring in it. Was I supposed to take the spring out of the old hose and put it in the new one? I sure hope not. Thanks for any imput.

I put the spring back when I replaced my hose. Supposed to keep the hose from collapsing.

I've noticed these before and, like you, I never reinstalled them. Anyone know for sure?

Spring DOES go in lower hose. Need to fix it. Its the hose that has the suction back into the radiator. Will collapse otherwise.

The replacement lower hose I bought from ZIP had the spring in it.
