alright....so for probably about 95% of the people on this board replacing a rear leaf spring is probably fairly routine (and i must admit it was pretty easy - but only b/c of advice received here), but for me this was a major deal. im happy to report that the ol' blue vette rolls again!
i want to publicly thank, 78Vette-SA, dmonsvette, feedvaal, brooksman9, and ED T for their help with my issue.
i cant help but feel a little proud that i've done my part to keep this thing on the road. this is an awesome forum to help people like myself who have little mechanical experience but lots of desire.
hope to see people at Vettefest!

Glad to be of some help. Like you, I knew nothing about how to do this job before getting info from this forum. There is a wealth of knowledge here. Imagine what you would have to pay someone to do that job alone. Keep up the good work.
