How much can you lower the rear while keeping the stock strut rods?

I just finished doing this with the longer bolts & composite spring. I don't think you would want to even think about it without having some smart struts. The wheels were toed way, way inward. You would eat up your tires in a heart beat>

Smart Struts has nothing to do with toe. Any sort of lowering requires an alignment, period. Any alignment shop that can handle our rear toe setting can easily lower the car while they're at it, maybe have them see how low they can get it without maxing out adjustments. If you have the skill to align it yourself, it's just trial and error.

I understand about the alignment. Has anyone lowered their car 2" without adjustable strut rods?

Hmm... my rear is sitting at 27.5 right now with stock strut rods. It definately ran out of adjustment too soon. I am going to need to go with adjustable strut rods.

Sometimes the longer bolts won't solve the problem. Several member including my self have composite spings longer bolts yet still have the "pro Street" look.

I think his question is, once the rear is sitting low, do you need adjustable strutrods or do stock one work? Mine is sitting pretty low in back, and it doesnt seem like i can get enough adjustment with the stock struts. I havent had the car aligned, but it looks like the tops are still tilted inward some.
