Default Question on 80-82 bumper

I am looking at parts for an '82 bumper if you look on the side of the bumper it has the two what look like lights. I know one is a reflector and one is a light. I am looking for that part I can not find it on Ecklers or Mid America, can some one please tell me the name of this part.

Thanks,
Bill

Are you talking about the two rear side markers? They are red.
Front has to yellow side markers.

I am talking about the front bumper on the side of it. It has two markers one thats yellow and one that is clear, I think the clear is a reflector?! Correct me if I am wrong please. What I am really looking for is a part number on Ecklers.

Thanks
Bill

Can't help you with Eckler's # But Mid am. catalogs shows them on page 159. L and R are 54.99 each.

There are no reflectors on the sides of the front bumper. The yellow is the turn signals and the white/clear are the turning lights (sort of like headlights that come on when the turn signal is on)

Yes, one is a turn signal and the other is a cornering light...a concept that didn't really catch on....

I had heard that several parts for the 80-82 cars actually came from the Cadillac parts bin, these lights were on that list. I've often wanted to check into this but never had the need....might want to check out the local Caddie dealer or even a salvage yard.

In the process or putting my 81 back together, I've discovered that there are several parts that are specific the the 80-82 models that have never been made in the aftermarket, so once the original GM parts run out, no one has anything to sell. The side marker lights are one of those parts. All the catalogs and sites I've looked through have the bezels, but don't carry the lights. I hadn't heard the bit about Cadillac parts before, it might be worth checking in to. I've run into the same problem trying to fix and/or replace my power sport mirrors and, of all things, replace my 81's nose emblem.

Corvette Central has front emblems for an '81, PN 293013.

80-82 Front cornering light bezel PN 493106.

80-82 Park/ turn signal assembly PN 493035

They have lots of resto goodies! I am amazed.
