The vast majority of wheel sources seem to offer a set offset/backspace for each size. What I (and I'm sure alot of us) need is the ability to choose every dimension I need, independant of the others. Boyd Coddington is one of few places I've found where I can choose custom backspace. They're by far the most reasonably priced so far. ($1560 for 18x9s and 18x10s f/r cast Smoothie2) ($1580 for 17x9.5 and 17x11 f/r cast Smoothie)
Anyway, the question is, what other brands can I have this choice and a price under $1600 or so for 17" or 18" diameters? I'm interested in both attractive wheels like these Boyds or anything-goes that I can make my race-only wheels.
I must've not seen the 3-piece modular CCWs before, $1900 is steep but not too bad. Thanks for that link, that makes 2 with wheels I really like and within my predicted price range.
Anyone know of supercheap custom 17+" wheels of any sort?
