Ok there fella, no need to get your panties in a bunch. Did you buy a car that was imported to the UK from Japan or did you buy your car from a dealer that specialized in Japanese cars?

For starters, there is plenty of good info to be had here if you take your time and read up. Also, another good source of info is www.corvettefaq.com

It seems like you are rather impatient about this project from your other post, of the exact same title. If that is the case, buy yourself a different car to drive while you work on this one. Unless you have a huge wad of time and cash to throw at your car, you aren't going to get it done anytime soon.

Also, to get more response, you might try posting model year specific questions to get more traffic. Also, even though all 68-82s are considered C3's, they tend to get lumped into groups, 68-73, 73-77 and 78-82.

If you just got the car.... I'd start with a good tune-up and a Compression test, new/Inspect fuel filter, new air filter and set the timing!!!! I'd also drive it awhile to see if anything elese needs attention before you start making her faster!!

Drove it 900 miles in 2 days - needs total suspension rebuild, new tyres, gearbox out of adjustment - will not kick down, drive shafts clunk, so gonna replace those as well.
Got quite a shopping list for Ecklers !!!!

You need to explore some additional vendors. Ecklers is great for interior rebuilds and whatnot. But Van Steel and VBP are the places to go for brakes, suspension, and that sort of stuff!
