Is it possible to drop in an lt1 or ls1 into a c3?
I know this will be tons and tons of work. but i'm just wondering.
Because I plan on buying a c3 in the next year. and want a little more power if i get a 74-82.

I doubt any of the guys who installed the LS1 did it for more power, prolly more for the pride of doing something diff. A Gen 1 small block will put out as much power as an LT1 or LS1 if built right but the latter have more tech so tend to do it better/more efficient. Add EFI to a Gen1 small block and you will very close to the LT1 or LS1. If you want an LT1 or LS1 then by all means put one in but if power is what you are after you don't have to go that route.

Good luck either way.

See corvettefaq.com for more late model swaps. If you just want EFI then leave the Cross-fire alone on an 82 or add Tuned-Port on the stock earlier engines.
