Anyone own a Sandblast Cabinet and/or parts cleaner?

We're in the process of building a new home and "I get a bigger garage"!

Definitely see a use for these but want to get some insight into units that are best for the $$$... I've been paging through the NORTHERN Tool and Equipment Catalog...some neat stuff and prices for each are a wide band.

Thoughts?

I got my parts cleaner from the Northen Tools store here in Houston.

Mine is the 20 gallon with the pump. I did not like the cleaning solution they sold, and ended up buying 20 gallons of varsol at a local auto parts store. Works great!

One of the best things I have in my garage!!

as I'm wrapping up my 69 project I'm going to sale my sand blaster, parts washer and 20 Ton press for $300. I'm in Jacksonville Fl. All three served me well for the last 18 months.

Picked up my sandblasting cabinet from Harbor Freight...

It's the smaller one they sell... so I mounted it on the wall.... It's the most useful tool I have outside the impact wrench and air socket.....

Not the most expensive one out there... but let's face it... a sandblasting cabinet is a sandblasting cabinet.

I'm deployed right now so I cannot look at the brand name of my sand blasting cabinet. It's red and I purchased it for $200. The cabinet has failed in many ways. I purchased it at Parts America. Next time I'll probably spend $500 to make sure I've got one thatwill work like it is supposed to. I always wondered why some sand blasting cabinets were so much more expensive then mine. Now I know, because they last. My 20 gal parts cleaner by the same company works just fine.
I recomend going expensive on the cabinet and cheap on the parts cleaner.
